Liz's Experience
Liz is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW/LMSW) who works with adults, young adults, and parents navigating anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. She supports clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or adjusting to new roles, relationships, or responsibilities, and she helps them better understand their experiences while developing practical tools for change.

Liz’s clinical approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, humanistic approaches, strengths-based therapy, and family systems perspectives. She believes therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, thoughtful, and paced in a way that allows clients to feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout the process.

Liz works with clients to build emotional regulation skills, understand patterns in relationships and behavior, process past experiences, and navigate life transitions with greater clarity and confidence. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges and working toward meaningful and sustainable change.

Liz currently works with clients located in Washington, DC and Maryland and has weekday daytime availability for new clients.
