Psychotherapist
Meet Paige
Kayla is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Washington, DC and a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) in Connecticut who is passionate about supporting Black girls and women, adolescents, young adults, and neurodivergent individuals as they navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-understanding.

Many of the clients Kayla works with are managing anxiety, ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and the unique pressures that can come with balancing school, work, relationships, and personal expectations. She understands that feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood can impact every area of life, and she strives to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

Kayla's therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, and create meaningful change.

Above all, Kayla believes therapy should feel like a partnership. Her goal is to provide a supportive and affirming environment where clients can explore their experiences, embrace their strengths, and move toward healing with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

Kayla provides therapy services to clients located in Washington, DC and Connecticut.
